Standard
A real bed (not a sleeping bag on the ground), shared bathroom facilities elsewhere in camp, and the same dinner, campfire and sunrise experience as every other tier. For most travelers, especially on a one-night stay, this is genuinely enough — the dunes, the meal, and the sky don't change between tiers.
Deluxe
The main upgrade here is usually a private bathroom attached to your own tent, sometimes with slightly larger or better-furnished sleeping space. It's a meaningful comfort step up from standard without the full cost of luxury, and it's a common middle-ground choice for couples or anyone who wants privacy without paying top price.
Luxury
Ensuite bathroom with a proper hot shower, better bedding and furnishings, and sometimes a more polished dining setup. The dunes and the sky are identical to the standard tier a hundred meters away — what you're paying for is comfort at camp, not a different desert experience.
